I was photographing at Fort De Soto's north beach on May 30th, 2008 when I
had a very cooperative Snowy Egret (Egretta thula) start fishing in the
warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico right in front of me. People have
nicknamed Snowy Egrets "Golden Slippers" because of their yellow feet, this
